Guardrail & Wifferdill / Railroad & Pokey

Here are some photos going over Rainy & Washington Passes.  We rode 57 miles from Colonial Creek campground to Mazama over Rainy & Washington Passes.  Long hard ride at 4mph up to 5,500 feet.  Stayed last night at Jim Gregg's Bike Barn (camping for cyclists only)  It was great to get a shower after 2 days without.  Note: Frustrated with the limitations of this blogger on android.  Unable to annotate or arrange photos.

  1. Nice pictures - thanks for the photo update... the bike barn looks awesome. The host is my favorite part. Hope that the weather cools off a bit for you guys as you cross WA into Idaho & Montana (but not cool enough to snow just yet). Pedal on boys...

  3. Great pictures - Bike Barn looks great and that outside shower is wonderful. But the big question is have you shared a room with any Llamas yet?! Keep up the good work on the blog. Can understand you frustration re the limitation of the blog and annotating photograph. Perhaps if you put the captions at the end of the blog and then numbered them from top to bottom that would help.

  4. Great to see you guys back in the saddle! Will be following you with more than a little jealousy. If you have a mind to visit Chicago, the Prairie Trail will take you from the Northern Tier up to Chicago, and it is a nice ride either through Michigan, or back South to pick it up again. You guys can stay with me for a night or a zero day, or several zero days, assuming the dates work out and I'm here, which is likely. Who knows... maybe I'll join you for a few days on the outbound, if you'd have me!

    1. Hey Mike! Good to hear from you. How is Percephone? We are likely going to cut across Lake Michigan north of Chicago by the Ludington ferry. You are more than welcome to join us! Hope you are well.
